She was favorite speech writer - when it was for Reagan. I don't like her new tone. Is she hoping for a place in the Obama administration?
"He has within him the possibility to change the direction and tone of American foreign policy, which need changing"
She makes it sound like a good thing. Obama may set a new tone for foreign policy that will make Jimmy Carter look smart.
"Democrats in Congress will move for innovation when much of the country hopes only for stability."
Yeah, if nationalization of health care can be called an innovation.
It's the end of an era, alright. Peggy Noonan is no longer one of us.
