the baby whisperer
A colleague on maternity leave came in to her office today to have lunch with a friend. She brought in her two-month-old baby. He is an active guy, sleeps though the night but does not take naps.
Then I came along.
I took the little guy into my office with the excuse that I wanted to let them have lunch in peace. Actually, I just wanted to hold the baby.
Within a couple of minutes he was out -- sleeping like, well, like a baby.
Now I am known around Hepburn Hall as the baby whisperer.
I'm a professional with thirty years of experience. Not with babies but with teaching economics. Putting people to sleep is not a problem.
Be blessed.
